Football - Boys Frosh

Placer took their opening drive down to the Lincoln 20 yd line. Michael Robinson scored his 1st TD on a 20 yd run. Issac Brahce scored on Placer's next offensive series on a 30 yd run. Placer ended the first quarter 14-0. In the 2nd quarter Michael Robinson scored on 30 & 37 yd runs bringing the score to 28-0 in favor of Placer. Lincoln fumbled the ball late in the 2nd quarter. QB Casey Yunk completed a 26 yd TD pass to Alex Graziano with under a minute remaining in the half making the score 35-0. Brahce scored on a 15 yd run in the 3rd quarter.  Michael Valdez in place of injured Jacob Moman scored his first TD of the season on a 60 yd run in the 3rd quarter. He had another 55 yd run for a TD but it was called back on a holding penalty. Issac Brahce completed 7 for 7 on PAT attempts. The offense was lead by lineman Brian Sabins & Lee Melbourne-Weaver.

Defensively Placer played well. Coach Jim Packheiser had the defense well prepared for the Lincoln Wing-T offense. Jake Lewis and Tony Suverkropp lead the defense in tackles. Isaiah Pineiro intercepted a Lincoln pass. Alex Graziano, Brendan Packheiser, Issac Brahce, Ryan Talley, Nathan Ralls, Michael Robinson, Eddie Vanderdoes, Mason Lenover, James Hubbard, Jack Hatherly, Jacob Peek, Jerry Pellegrino all played well. Eric Ivins had 3 tackles on Special Teams.
