Placer Freshman Defeat Bear River 40-14
Placer’s freshman football team scored on its first three possessions and went on to post a 40-14 Pioneer Valley League win over Bear River. The Hillmen built a 27-0 lead by halftime. Michael Robinson scored 2 TD's & Isaac Brahce 1 TD in the first half. Quarterback Casey Yunk also found receiver Bryan Berube on a touchdown pass & Michael Ronsinson his 3rd TD in the second half. Isaac converted 3 of 5 PAT's. Eddie Vanderdoes also kicked the ball well and contributed to the defensive side of the ball. On defense Jacob Peek, Jake Lewis, Tony Suverkroop, James Hubbard and Mason Lenover played well. The offensive line of Jake Lewis, James Hubbard, Brian Sabins, Jon Bove & Lee Melbourne-Weaver had a big game considering Placer's offense scored in it's first six plays from scrimmage.
